JMP is an extraordinary Kindergarten through 2nd grade school that prepares our superheroes in training for any challenge they may face in the 21st century. We believe that every student is a superhero in training and it is our job to find what makes each child special and unique and teach them how to utilize their strengths and grow their areas of need.

JMP is home to roughly 500 students building wide. We currently have 3 Self Contained Autistic classes, 2 LLD  classes, 7 full day Kindergarten classes, 7  1st grade classes and 7 2nd grade classes.

The JMP staff does a tremendous job at providing lessons that are real world, hands on and truly engage each learner. Through anecdotal notes and a variety of data points, our teachers provide tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of their learners. Our staff utilizes our district curriculum that is based on the NJ Student Learning Standards. In addition, students receive instruction in Music, Art, Spanish, Music and Physical Education.

In order to enhance our instruction and to get students ready for the 21st century, each student is provided with a technology device. Students in Kindergarten receive their very own iPad. Students in 1st and 2nd receive their very own chromebook. These tools are used to enhance instruction and provide students with opportunities to develop 21st century skills. We at JMP believe that these devices are simply tools to enhance instruction and do not replace purposeful and meaningful instruction provided by the classroom teacher.

Students in grades 1st and 2nd have the opportunity to participate in a variety of clubs that enhance their learning experience. Students can participate in soccer club, drama club, coding, newspaper club, news video, health and fitness, math club, Brick for Kids, Student Council and a variety of others. Students that participate in our Student Council club will have the opportunity to serve as leaders at JMP. They participate in a variety of fundraisers and community based activities. They have been able to develop an outdoor lunchroom/classroom and a STEAM lab for our school to enjoy.

Our outstanding PTO provides a wide variety of activities that involve not only our students, but our JMP families as well. They hold a variety of fundraisers throughout the year to provide various assemblies for our students. In addition, our PTO covers the cost of each grades annual class trip. They are a dedicated team of amazing people and are always looking for new volunteers. If you are interested in participating, please check out the PTO tab on our website.

Thank you for your interest in learning a little bit of what JMP has to offer. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Mr. Seiler
